introduction
At the current point of uncertainty (war with Iran),
I realized that in fact, over a decade of curiosity, observation, learning, and development from hiking trails, in Israel and around the world (as a hiker and as a guide in my training), I had prepared myself, even without intending to, for extreme situations of uncertainty, which also bring with them fear, anxiety, excitement, motivation, and self-drive to action.
I always felt that walking on nature's paths This is the acceptance of "real" life.
That's why I loved it so much.
I could play with roles.
With thoughts and situations that I encounter "only" on the paths,
And when I return to my life, to the environment I am in, to my social connections – I can only learn from it.
I was very drawn to going outside because I saw it as such an important experience.
To deal with dilemmas, feelings and emotions that arise and to learn about myself outside of my life space.
And so I can come back stronger.
The perspective I adopted for myself allowed me to embark on a new exploration each time, both of myself inwardly and outwardly, towards my social connections and later, when I began guiding and observed the travelers with me.
And now, after so many major crises
Which started with Corona, 10/7, a protracted war
And too many deaths
A war has broken out with Iran.
And during these times, I married Hava, became a father for the first time to Kama, and as of this writing, I am the father of 2 sweet children, Kama and Abri.
I understand that the path I have walked and am still walking has taught me to deal with so many crises,
I just really didn't imagine that this would happen and that I would have to deal with so much.
Related to business, family finances, emotional, personal, and marital coping, setting an example and educating my children, and more...
Precisely during this period,
Many points have become clear to me during my years in the field,
That I would like to bring about shared writing and learning.
Examples related to my connections with travelers and also to my personal experiences from the field.
