"A wild ship singer suddenly comes from the armchair where I am sitting, torn, planning another journey for me" \Ali Mohr

So what does the journey look like?

We will go on a hiking trip starting at the cliffs of Rosh Hankara in the north and ending at Zikim Beach near the border of the Gaza Strip in the south.

The length of the path is about 240 km and it runs along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea of Israel:
Rosh HaNkara, Acziv, Old Acre, Bat Galim, Tel Shekmona in Haifa, Atlit Fort observation, Neve Yam, Tel Dor, Jesser a Zarka, Caesarea, Port of Tel Aviv, Gador Reserve, Netanya Promenade, Apollonia National Park, Herzliya, Shepkh Hayarkon, Tel Aviv Promenade, Port of Jaffa, Bat Yam, Rishon Lezion, the mouth of Nahal Sorek at Palmahim Beach, Tel Yavne-Yam, Ashdod, Ashkelon and Zikim Reserve.

For thousands of years there was a main road through the land of Israel called: the sea route.
She never passed directly on the coastline, but east of it.
Therefore, the sea path is a significant breakthrough that the ancients would surely have been happy to walk on...
We, in the 21st century in the State of Israel have an opportunity to walk in it.

We will divide the march into 4 sections:
Each section consists of three days of walking of about 20 km per day.
Along the path there are factories and security facilities that do not allow continuous walking on the beach
Therefore, when we reach them, we will take the detours that will bring us back to the beach (Mitvethim Beach).

The course of the journey (the first section, 3 days: from Rasha Hankara to Atlit)

Meet at the train station in Atlit, here we will leave the vehicles and go on the journey.
A shuttle will be waiting for us and take us to the beginning of the route.
